A4942 three-phaseElectric motor driverIntegrated BEMF sensing eliminates the need for installation in fan applicationsHall sensor。

A closed-loop speed control system is integrated onto the IC. Therefore, the maximum and minimum speeds can be accurately set by selecting external resistors. The speed is controlled by the duty cycle requirements applied to the PWM input.

The PWM input can operate over a wide frequency range.

Incorporate current limiting to save cost and PCB space on external sense resistors. The current limit feature includes an adjustable soft-start to minimize the load on the supply while accelerating the fan.

The A4942 is available in a 20-connector 4 mm × 4 mm QFN package (suffix ES) with exposed heat shields for improved heat dissipation. The package is lead (Pb) free and features 100% matte tin leadframe plating.
