• Product Introduction

The A3995 is capable of driving two DC motors at up to 2.4 A. The A3995 is driven up to 36 V and includes two independent fixed-shutdown time PWM current regulators that can operate in fast or slow decay mode (depending on the "mode" input). An internal synchronous rectification control circuit reduces power consumption during pulse-width modulation (PWM) operation.

Protection features include overheating shutdown due to hysteresis, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), and crossover current protection. No special power-up sequencing is required.

The A3995 is available in a 36-pin QFN package (suffix EV) with an exposed power plate for enhanced thermal performance. The package sizes are 6 mm × 6 mm, with a nominal overall package height of 0.90 mm, are lead-free, and have a 100% matte tin plated pin frame.
