The 12 data inputs drive a latch controlled by standard CS and WR signals, allowing for easy interfacing with the microprocessor. When working independently, the CS and WR inputs can be grounded, allowing all latches to operate transparently. All digital inputs are TTL and 5 V CMOS compatible.
The output amplifier can supply ± 10 V to a 2 kΩ load. It is internally compensated and laser-adjusted at the wafer level, resulting in a low input offset voltage. When operating normally, the RFB is connected to VOUT, but the user can also select RA, RB, or RC to adjust the output voltage range.
