The device is configured to accept right-aligned data in a two-byte format provided by an 8-bit data bus. Utilizing standard chip selection and memory write logic to access the DAC. The internal registers are controlled by address lines A0 and A1 for loading and transmission.
The AD7534 features a novel low-leakage configuration (patent pending) that provides excellent output leakage current characteristics over the entire temperature rating.
The device is fully protected from CMOS latching and eliminates the need for external Schottky diodes or FET input op-amps. The AD7534 is manufactured using a linear-compatible CMOS (LC²MOS) process, is compatible with most microprocessor speeds, and accepts TTL or CMOS logic level inputs.
