The SDT800-F8 consists of two phototransistors and two light-emitting diodes. Optocoupling between the input IR LED and the output phototransistor allows a high level of isolation while maintaining a low level of DC signal control. The SDT800-F8 provides an optically isolated approach to control many interface applications such as communications, industrial control, and instrumentation circuits.
The SDT800-F8 is a standard small 8-pin SSOP package.
