The TFBBU 400 is a trigger relay with 4 double/double-break C/O contacts (Form Z). Transient introduction mode or dropout delay can be fully programmed via DIP switches and activate or disable the relay. The DIP switch can be accessed by removing the delay cover. This feature prohibits boring live time delay settings. Functions can also be set on a factory basis.
 
The plug-in design provides a secure locking function for maximum maintenance (no need to disconnect wires or remove additional hardware for relay inspection or replacement). The resistance to shock and vibration meets the effective standards for railway transport equipment. The forward mechanical keying of the relay to the socket is built into the relay and socket during the manufacturing process, and the terminal identification is clearly marked on the identification plate permanently connected to the relay.
 
The TFBBU 400 relay can be plugged into the following sockets: EA 102 B, EA 102 BF, EA 103 BF, EA 104 B, EA 104 BF, EA 105 BF, EA 112 BF
