The 71M6103/71M6113/71M6201/71M6203/71M6601/71M6603 (71M6xxx) isolated sensor ICs enable Teridian's fourth-generation polyphase metrology 71M654x system-on-chip (SoC) to be used without the need for expensive and nonlinear nonisolating such as resistor shuntssensorIsolation transformer or CTS. Isolation provides a low-cost pulse transformer that forms a 71M654x and isolated sensor IC between bidirectional digital communication links.

The 71M6xxx isolated sensor IC contains a 22-bit delta-ΣADC, differential input amplifier, high-precision voltage reference, temperature sensor, and 71M654x supply voltage generator to power pulse on.

In combination with the 71M654x metering SoC in use, isolated sensor ICs provide unprecedented BOM cost reduction, enhanced reliability in immunomagnetic interference, and single-phase and multiphase applications.
