New applications for linear Hall-effect sensors require medium accuracy and smaller package sizes. The Allegro A1304 linear Hall-effect sensor IC is designed to meet both of these requirements. The temperature-stable device is available in a small surface-mount package (SOT23-W).

A proportional linear Hall-effect sensor provides a voltage output proportional to the applied magnetic field and has a static output voltage equivalent to approximately 50% of the supply voltage.

Each BiCMOS monolithic circuit integrates Hall elements, offset and sensitivity correction circuitry (to correct for Hall element variations), a small signal high-gain amplifier, and proprietary dynamic offset cancellation technology.

The A1304 sensor IC is available in a 3-pin surface-mount SOT-23W package (LH suffix). The package is lead-free and features a 100% matte tin-plated pinframe.
