The A1341 device is a high-precision programmable Hall-effect linear sensor integrated circuit (IC) with configurable pulse width modulation (PWM) or single-sided half-byte transmission (SENT) outputs for automotive and non-automotive applications. The A1341's signal channels allow for flexibility through external programming, which ensures accurate and customized output voltages are generated from the input magnetic signal. The A1341 provides 12-bit output resolution and supports bandwidths up to 3 kHz.
BiCMOS monolithic integrated circuits include Hall sensor components, high-precision temperature compensation circuitry to reduce the sensitivity and offset drift inherent in Hall components, small signal high-gain amplifiers, proprietary dynamic offset cancellation circuitry, and advanced output linearization circuitry.
With onboard EEPROM and advanced signal processing, the A1341 offers unmatched customer programmability options for gain and offset, bandwidth, output clamping, and output polarity. Multiple input magnetic range and signal offset selections are factory preset. In addition, the device supports separate high and low temperatures as well as primary and secondary temperature compensation.
A key feature of the A1341 is its ability to produce highly linear device outputs in a nonlinear input field. To achieve this, the device divides the output into 32 equal segments and applies a unique linearization factor to each segment. The linearization coefficients are stored in the lookup table of the EEPROM.
The A1341 is available in a lead-free (Pb) 4-pin single-line in-line package (KT suffix) with 100% matte tin plating on the pin frame.
