• Product Introduction

The A1343 device is a high-precision programmable Hall-effect linear sensor integrated circuit (IC) for automotive and non-automotive applications with configurable pulse-width modulation (PWM) or single-sided half-byte transfer (SENT) outputs. The A1343's signal channels allow for flexibility through external programming, which ensures accurate and customized output voltage generation from the input magnetic signal. The A1343 offers 12-bit output resolution and supports a maximum bandwidth of up to 3 kHz. BiCMOS monolithic integrated circuits include Hall sensor components, high-precision temperature compensation circuitry to reduce the sensitivity and offset drift inherent in Hall components, small signal high-gain amplifiers, proprietary dynamic offset cancellation circuitry, and advanced output linearization circuitry.

With onboard EEPROM and advanced signal processing, the A1343 offers unmatched customer programmability for features such as gain and offset, bandwidth, output clamping, and magnetic range selection. In addition, the device supports separate high and low temperature, first- and second-order temperature compensation.

A key feature of the A1343 is its ability to produce highly linear device outputs in a nonlinear input field. To achieve this, the device divides the output into 32 equal segments and applies a unique linearization factor to each segment. The linearization coefficients are stored in the lookup table of the EEPROM.

The A1343 is available in a lead-free (Pb) 8-pin TSSOP package (LE suffix) with 100% matte tin plating on the pin frame.
