The A1356 device is a high precision programmable open drain with pulse-width modulated (PWM) outputHall-effect linear sensorsIC。 The duty cycle (D) of the PWM output signal is proportional to the applied magnetic field. The A1356 device converts analog signals to digitally encoded PWM output signals through its built-in Hall element. The coupled immunity of digitally encoded PWM outputs far exceeds the immunity of analog output signals.

The A1356 features a BiCMOS monolithic circuit that integrates a Hall element, high-precision temperature compensation circuitry to reduce the sensitivity and offset drift inherent in the Hall element, a small signal high-gain amplifier, a proprietary dynamic offset cancellation circuitry, and a PWM conversion circuit. Dynamic offset cancellation circuitry reduces the residual offset voltage of the Hall element. Hall element offsets are typically caused by molding setup, temperature dependencies, and thermal stress. High-frequency offset cancellation (chopping) clocks allow higher sample rates to improve the accuracy of the output signal and enable faster signal processing.
