The A3909 is a dual-socketFull-bridge motor drives, designed for 12 V medium power applications. The output is rated at a supply voltage range of 4 to 18 V with currents up to 1 A per phase.
Outputs can be paralleled in higher current single DC motor applications.
Four inputs (IN1 to IN4) control forward, reverse, braking and coasting modes for DC motors, or full-step and half-step modes for bipolar stepper motors.
The A3909 is available in a 10-pin MSOP package with exposed heat sink (suffix LY) and a 10-pin SSOP package (suffix LN) for wave soldering applications. Both packages are lead (Pb) free and the leadframes are 100% matte tin plating.
