The A3942 is highly integratedGate driversIC to drive up to four N-channel MOSFETs in a high-side configuration. The device is designed for harsh environmental conditions and automotive applications with high reliability standards.
Serial peripheral interface (SPI) compatibility makes the device easy to integrate into existing applications. In such applications, MOSFETs are commonly used to drive gasoline or diesel engine management actuators, transmissions, body control actuators, and other general automotive or industrial loads. The A3942 is ideal for driving glow plugs, valves, solenoids, and other inductive loads in engine management and drivetrains.
The device is available in an ultra-thin (1.20 mm maximum overall height) 38-pin TSSOP package with six pins internally fused for improved heat dissipation (LG package). The packages are lead (Pb) free, and the leadframes are 100% matte tin.
