The A4946 is a low-noise, three-phase motor driver with an integrated power bridge for driving small fans and exhaust fans in automotive systems. The phases are driven by sine signal PWM excitation to reduce the audible noise and vibration of the motor. Controlling motor current using PWM technology minimizes power loss.
