The A5940 three-phase motor driver integrates a sinusoidal signal drive to minimize audible noise and vibration from medium-power fans.

When starting, a sinusoidal voltage is applied to the motor windings for quiet starting, gradually bringing the motor to the required speed.

This device is available in both automotive and commercial grade options.
