The A6282 device is specifically designed for use in LED display applications. The CMOS device contains an input shift register, an included data latch, and 16 MOS constant current current drivers.

CMOS shift registers and latches allow for direct connection to microprocessor-based systems. With a single 3.3 or 5 volt logic circuit power supply, a typical serial data input rate of 30 MHz can be achieved. The LED driver current level can be set by a single external resistor and is determined by the application designer. Serial data output allows for multi-device cascading in applications requiring additional drive lines.

The A6282 is available in a variety of 24-terminal packages: QFN (ES package) and eTSSOP (LP) with exposed insulation panel and SOIC (LW). All packages are lead-free and feature 100% matte tin-plated pin frames.
