MIL-C-5015 (traction, industrial)
Mil-C-5015 type, VG 95234 compliant, reverse bayonet connector, SNCF approved to NFF 61030, LUL compliant, low fire hazard thermoplastic insert, 10 amps to 42 amps, -55°C to +125°C, 7 to 60 clip reserved contacts.
Modular bayonet lock connector, plastic insulator.
The ABCIRP connector series is derived from the American Mil-C-5015 and VG95234 specifications. The connectors are intermable and interchangeable with the corresponding type, but with a low fire hazard thermoplastic insulator that can be removed for repositioning in an alternative orientation. The contacts are the industry standard "F80" type, secured in the insulator by a unique beryllium copper spring clamp. The connector seal uses a stepped wire seal gasket that eliminates the need for filler plugs to fill unused cavities. Crimping tools are the industry standard and use simple hand tools to insert and remove contacts.
ABCIRP connectors have been approved by the French railway code NFF 61030
