ABCU-5710RZ

The Avago ABCU-5710RZ and ABCU-5700RZ electrical transceivers provide a full-duplex transmission rate of 1000 Mbps by transmitting data in a Level 5 PAM (Pulse Amplitude Modulation) signal in both shielded and unshielded Category 5 twisted pair cables. The ABCU-5710RZ differs from the ABCU-5700RZ only in its ability to handle RX_LOS signals.

Avago Technologies' 1000BASE-T module acquires signals from Category 5 twisted pair cables and a SerDes interface.

Pin counting overhead between MAC and PHY is minimized, enabling Gigabit Ethernet operation through maximum space savings.
