Allegro®ACS709Current sensorLos CI proporcionan soluciones rentables y precisas para aplicaciones de detección actuales en sistemas industriales, automotrices, comerciales y de comunicaciones. El dispositivo está disponible en un pequeño paquete de montaje en superficie que facilita su implementación en aplicaciones de clientes.

El ACS709 cuenta con un CI de sensor Hall lineal preciso con una trayectoria de corriente de cobre cerca de la superficie de la oblea de silicio. La corriente impresa fluye a través de la ruta de corriente de cobre, mientras que el voltaje de salida analógico del CI del sensor Hall rastrea linealmente el campo magnético generado por la corriente aplicada. La precisión del ACS709 se ve reforzada por esta configuración de paquete patentada porque el elemento Hall se coloca muy cerca de la corriente a medir.

La exclusiva tecnología de pantalla integrada de Allegro permite una alta tolerancia a las señales dV/dt del conductor de corriente y a los campos eléctricos parásitos, lo que garantiza una ondulación de voltaje de salida baja y una baja deriva de polarización en aplicaciones de gama alta.

El voltaje de entrada de sobrecorriente (pin VOC) permite al cliente establecer un umbral de falla de sobrecorriente para el dispositivo. Cuando la corriente que fluye a través de la ruta de corriente de cobre (entre los pines IP+ e IP-) excede este umbral, el pin de falla de sobrecorriente de drenaje abierto pasa a un estado lógico bajo. El CI interno del sensor Hall lineal del ACS709 está programado de fábrica para lograr señales de salida analógicas y digitales de alta precisión.

Una resistencia interna típica de la ruta de cobre para la detección de corriente es de 1.1 mΩ con una pérdida de potencia mínima. Además, la ruta de corriente está aislada galvánicamente de las entradas y salidas del dispositivo de bajo voltaje. Esto permite que la familia ACS709 de CI de sensores se utilice en aplicaciones que requieren aislamiento galvánico sin el uso de optoiaisladores u otras técnicas de aislamiento costosas.
