The AD5062 belongs to Analog DevicesnanoThe DAC family is a low power, single 16-bit, unbuffered voltage output DAC® that operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply. The relative accuracy specification is ±1 LSB, which guarantees monotonicity of operation, and the differential nonlinearity (DNL) specification is ±1 LSB. THE DEVICE FEATURES A FLEXIBLE 3-WIRE SERIAL INTERFACE CAPABLE OF OPERATING CLOCK RATES UP TO 30 UMHz and is compatible with standard spi®, qspi,™ microwire™, and dsp interface standards. The reference voltage for the AD5062 is provided through an external VREF pin. An on-chip reference buffer is provided. A power-on reset circuit is included to ensure that the DAC output powers up to zero scale or midscale and remains at that level until a valid write is performed on the device. It also features a shutdown feature that typically reduces the device's power consumption to 300 nA (typical) at 5 V in shutdown mode and provides a software-selectable output load. Shutdown mode can be entered through the serial interface. The total unadjusted error of the device is less than 0.8 mV.

The device powers up with very low glitches.
