The AD5062, part of Analog Devices' nanoDAC® family, is a low-power, single-channel, 16-bit unbuffered output DAC that operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply. The relative accuracy specification is ±1 LSB to ensure the monotonicity of the operation, and the differential nonlinearity (DNL) specification is ±1 LSB. The device features a flexible, three-wire serial interface that is capable of operating at clock rates up to 30 MHz and is compatible with standard SPI®, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, DSP interface standards. The AD5062's reference voltage is provided via an external VREF pin. An in-chip reference buffer is provided. The device has a built-in power-on reset circuit that ensures that the DAC output is powered on to zero or intermediate level and maintained at that level until a valid write operation is performed on the device. It also features shutdown that typically reduce the device's power consumption to 300 nA (typical) at 5 V in shutdown mode and provides a software-selectable output load. Shutdown mode can be entered through the serial interface. The device has a total unadjusted error of less than 0.8 mV.
The device has very low burr when powered on.
