The AD5602/AD5612/AD5622 are nanoDAC® series single-channel, 8/10/12-bit, buffered output DACs that operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and consume less than 100 μA at 5 V in a small SC70 package. Each DAC has a built-in on-chip precision output amplifier that enables rail-to-rail output swing.
The AD5602/AD5612/AD5622 feature a two-wire I2C-compatible serial interface and can operate in standard (100 KHz), fast (400 KHz), and high-speed (3.4 MHz) modes.
All three devices have the widest dynamic output range due to their voltage references from the mains input. Each device has a power-on reset circuit that ensures that the DAC output is powered up to 0 V and maintained at that level until a valid write operation is performed on the device. It also features shutdown that reduces the device's power consumption to less than 150 nA at 3 V in shutdown mode and provides a software-selectable output load. Shutdown mode can be entered through the serial interface. In normal operating mode, the AD5602/AD5612/AD5622 feature low power consumption, making them ideal for portable, battery-powered devices. The power consumption at 5 V is 0.4 mW.
