The AD5662 belongs tonanoThe DAC® series is a low-cost, low-power, single-channel, 16-bit, buffered voltage output that ensures monotonicityAnalog-to-digital converters(DAC)。

A power-on reset circuit is included to ensure that the DAC output powers up to 0 V or midscale (depending on the model) and maintains that level until a valid write is performed. With a typical power consumption of 250 μA, the device also features a power-down feature that reduces the device's power consumption to 1 μA at 5 V in power-down mode and provides a software-selectable output load.

THE AD5662 FEATURES A VERSATILE 3-WIRE SERIAL INTERFACE CAPABLE OF OPERATING AT CLOCK RATES UP TO 30 UMHz and is compatible with standard spi, qspi,™™ microwire™, and dsp interface standards. It includes an on-chip precision output amplifier that enables rail-to-rail output swing.

1.16-bit monotonic DAC with guaranteed 12-bit accuracy.
2. Available in 8-pin SOT-23 and 8-pin MSOP packages.
3. Power-on reset to zero scale or midscale.
4. Low power consumption. Operates from a 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply. Typical power consumption is 0.35 mW at 3 V and 0.7 mW at 5 V, making it ideal for battery-powered applications.
5. Shutdown function. In shutdown mode, the DAC typically consumes 50 nA at 3 V and 200 nA at 5 V.
6. Settling time: 10 μs.
