The AD5737 is a quad, current output DAC that operates from a 10.8 V to 33 V supply. The on-chip dynamic power control function is based on a dc-to-dc boost converter optimized for the lowest on-chip power consumption, which can adjust the voltage of the output driver from 7.4 V to 29.5 V to minimize package power consumption.
Each channel has a corresponding CHART pin, so the HART signal can be coupled to the current output of the AD5737.
THE AD5737 FEATURES A VERSATILE 3-WIRE SERIAL INTERFACE CAPABLE OF OPERATING AT CLOCK RATES UP TO 30UMHz and is compatible with standard spi, qspi,™ microwire®, dsp, and microcontroller interface standards. The serial interface also provides optional CRC-8 packet error checking and a watchdog timer to monitor interface activity.
For a 16-bit equivalent solution, look at the AD5757. For voltage and current configurable versions, look at the AD5755, AD5755-1, or AD5735.
