Digital-to-analog converters (DACs)

Product Details:

The AD5755-1 is a four-channel, voltage- and current-output DAC that operates from a -26.4 V to +33V supply. The on-chip dynamic power control feature is based on a DC-DC boost converter optimized for the lowest on-chip power consumption, and in current mode, the voltage of the output driver can be adjusted from 7.4 V to 29.5 V to minimize package power consumption. Each channel has a corresponding CHART pin, so the HART signal can be coupled to the current output of the AD5755-1.

The device features a versatile three-wire serial interface that is capable of operating at clock rates up to 30MHz and is compatible with standard SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, DSP, and microcontroller interface standards. The interface also offers optional CRC-8 packet error checking, as well as a watchdog timer to monitor interface activity.
