The AD6C101 is a bidirectional, single-pole, single-throw, always-on multipurpose solid state relay. With a high blocking voltage (600V), it is designed to replace electromechanical relays for high voltage switching applications. The relay consists of an integrated driver circuit and two robust source-to-source enhanced DMOS transistors - optometrically coupled to a light-emitting diode. The output MOS transistor is protected with a freewheeling diode that can handle inrush currents up to 1.5A, making the lamp ideal for switching relays and highly inductive loads.
