AD7151BRMZ Fast response ultra-low-power converters
The AD7151 uses a fast-responding, ultra-low-power converter to provide a comprehensive signal processing solution for capacitive short-range sensors. The AD7150 is a dual-channel form of the AD7151.
The AD7151 features Analog Devices' Capacitive-to-Digital Converter (CDC) technology, which combines many of the features that play an important role in interfacing with the actual sensor, such as high input sensitivity, high input parasitic ground capacitance, and leakage current tolerance.
An integrated adaptive threshold algorithm compensates for any changes in sensor capacitance due to environmental factors such as humidity and temperature, or aging insulation materials.
By default, the AD7151 operates in standalone mode with a fixed power-up setting and displays the detection results on a single digital output. In addition, the AD7151 can be connected to a microcontroller via a serial interface, allowing the internal registers to be programmed with user-defined settings, and data and status information can be read from the device.
The AD7151 operates from a supply voltage of 2.7 V to 3.6 V and is rated for a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
