The AD7302 is a dual-channel, 8-bit output DAC that operates from a single +2.7 V to +5.5 V supply. It has a built-in on-chip precision output buffer that enables rail-to-rail output swing range. The AD7302 features a parallel microprocessor and DSP-compatible interface with high-speed registers and dual-buffer interface logic. The data is loaded into the register at the rising edge of the CS or WR, and the A/B pin selects DAC A or DAC B.
The AD7302 has two reference options: an internal reference from the VDD or an external reference via the REFIN pin. Both DACs can be updated simultaneously using the asynchronous LDAC input, and can be cleared with the asynchronous CLR input.
The device's low power consumption makes it ideal for portable, battery-powered devices. Power consumption is less than 10 mW at 3.3 V and down to 3 μW in power-saving mode.
The AD7302 is available in 20-pin plastic dual in-line, 20-pin SOIC, and 20-pin TSSOP.
