The AD7441BRT-R2 pseudo differential input, 1 MSPS, 10-bit ADC is available in an 8-lead SOT-23 package
The AD7441/AD7451 are 10-bit and 12-bit, high speed, low power, single-supply, successive approximation (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with pseudo-differential analog inputs and operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V supply, with a maximum throughput of 1 MSPS and very low power consumption.
The AD7441/AD7451 contain a low noise, wide bandwidth, differential sample-and-hold (T/H) amplifier that can handle input frequencies up to 3.5 MHz. The external reference voltage is via VREF
Pin input from 100 mV to VDD
Range varies, depending on the power supply and application.
The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled via active-low CS and serial clocks to provide the device with microprocessoror DSP interface created the conditions. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of the active-low CS, where the conversion is initiated at the same time. These devices feature a SAR architecture that ensures no pipeline delay.
Product Focus
- Operates from a 2.7 V to 5.25 V supply.
- High throughput, low power consumption. The AD7441/AD7451 consume a maximum of 4 mW at 1 MSPS throughput from a 3 V supply.
- Pseudo-differential analog input.
- Flexible power/serial clock speed management. The slew rate is determined by the serial clock, so power consumption can be reduced when the serial clock speed increases and the conversion time decreases. These devices also offer a shutdown mode for maximum efficiency at lower throughput.
- Variable reference input.
- No pipeline delay.
- Precise control of sampling time is achieved with active-low CS input and one-time conversion control.
- With a 500 mV reference, ENOB is typically greater than 10 bits.
