Product details

The AD7801 is a single, 8-bit voltage output DAC that operates from a single +2.7 V to +5.5 V supply. It includes on-chip precision output buffering for rail-to-rail output swing. The AD7801 has a parallel microprocessor and DSP-compatible interface with high speed registers and double-buffered interface logic. Data is loaded into the input registers on the rising edge of CS or WR.

The AD7801 has two reference voltage options: slave V_DDThe internal reference voltage is obtained or the external reference voltage is obtained through the REFIN pin. Take advantage of asynchronyCLR The input clears the output of the DAC.

The low power consumption makes this device ideal for portable, battery-powered devices. Power consumption is less than 5 mW at 3.3 V and drops to less than 3 μW in power-down mode.

The AD7801 is available in 20-lead SOIC and 20-lead TSSOP packages.
