Der AD7841 integriert acht 14-Bit-DACs mit gepuffertem Spannungsausgang auf einem einzigen Chip. Er verwendet eine Referenzspannung von ±5 V und einen Ausgangsspannungsbereich von ±10 V. Es gibt drei unabhängige differentielle Referenzen mit gepufferten Eingängen: eine für DAC A und B, eine für DACs G und H und eine für DAC C, D, E und F. Unter der Steuerung der WR-, CS- und DAC-Adresspins A0–A2 lädt der AD7841 parallele 14-Bit-Daten vom externen Bus in einen der Eingangslatches. Wenn die DAC-Register neue Daten empfangen, wird der DAC-Ausgang aktualisiert. Jeder DAC-Ausgang wird mit einem Gain-2-Verstärker gepuffert, und eine externe DAC-Offset-Spannung kann über den DUTGND-Pin in den Verstärker eingefügt werden. Der AD7841 ist in einem 44-poligen PQFP-Gehäuse erhältlich.
