  • Product details

    The AD7989-1/AD7989-5 are 18-bit, successive approximationAnalog-to-digital converters(ADC) from a single-supply VDD. It contains a low-power, high-speed, 18-bit sampling ADC and a versatile serial interface port. On the rising edge of the CNV, the AD7989-1/AD7989-5 sample the voltage difference between the IN+ and IN- pins, which typically swing from 0 V to VREF, phase opposite. The reference voltage (REF) is provided externally and can be independent of the supply voltage (VDD). Power consumption and throughput rate vary linearly. 

    The SPI-compatible serial interface also enables several ADCs to be daisy-chained onto a single-3-wire bus using the SDI input. With a separate supply VIO, it is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, or 5 V logic.


    AD7989-1The AD7989-5 is available in a 10-lead MSOP or 10-lead LFCSP package and is specified over the −40°C to +85°C temperature range.
