Product details

AD8170(2:1) and AD8174 (4:1) are ultrafast bufferedMultiplexer, a built-in current feedback output amplifier whose gain can be programmed by an external resistor and capable of delivering 50 mA of output current. The -3 dB signal bandwidth is 250 MHz and the slew rate is greater than 1000 V/μs. In addition, the AD8170 and AD8174 have excellent video characteristics, with differential gain and differential phase errors as low as 0.02% and 0.05°, respectively, and 0.1 dB flatness of 85 MHz. Crosstalk as low as 70 dB and better than 82 dB in isolation make it suitable for many high-speed applications. Both devices are low-power devices; When operating from a ±5 V supply, it consumes only 9.7 mA.

The AD8174 has a high speed disable feature that allows the output to be placed in a high impedance state and signal stages can be cascaded so that the shutdown channel does not load the output bus. In addition, it can be turned off (SD) when not in use, minimizing power consumption (IS = 1.5 mA). These products are available in 8-pin, 14-pin PDIP and SOIC packages.
