Product details

AD8180 (single) andAD8182(Dual channel) is high-speed 2:1Multiplexer, -3 dB signal bandwidth greater than 780 MHz, slew rate of 750 V/μs. Crosstalk performance is better than 77 dB and isolation performance is better than 84 dB, making it suitable for many high-speed applications. With differential gain and differential phase errors of 0.02% and 0.02°, respectively, and a flatness of over 100 MHz of 0.1 dB, it is ideal for professional video multiplexing. The switching time is 5 ns, making it ideal for pixel switching (picture-in-picture) applications that consume less than 3.8 mA from a ±5 V supply (each 2:1 multiplexer).

Both devices feature a high-speed disable feature that allows the output to be placed in a high-impedance state. As a result, multiple outputs can be connected together to cascade signal stages while the "shutdown" channel does not load the output bus. These devices operate from ±5 V supplies and are available in 8-pin, 14-pin PDIP, and SOIC packages.
