The AD8347 is a single-chip, wideband 2.7 GHz quadrature demodulator. The device integrates a 65 dB linear dB AGC and divides between the RF inputs and at the baseband outputs behind the mixer. In-phase and quadrature signals are first elicited out of the chip for filtering before being provided to the final output amplifier stage. The user can adjust the DC common-mode level using the final output amplifier to provide a direct interface to the dual-channel I/Q ADC.
65 dB linear dB gain control, 50 MHz demodulation bandwidth, and excellent phase and amplitude balance make the AD8347 ideal for direct conversion radios in point-to-point and point-to-multipoint broadband wireless applications.
Manufactured using an advanced bipolar process, the AD8347 operates from a single 3 V or 5 V supply and is available in a space-saving 28-pin ultra-thin shrink (TSSOP) package rated for a temperature range of –40ºC to +85ºC.
