The AD8657/AD8659 are dual- and four-channel micropower, precision rail-to-rail input/output amplifiers optimized for low power consumption and wide operating supply voltage range applications.
The AD8657/AD8659 operate from a 2.7 V to 18 V supply with a typical quiescent supply current of 18 μA. These devices feature Analog Devices' patented DigiTrim® tuning technology with very low offset voltages. The AD8657/AD8659 also have high immunity to electromagnetic interference.
With low supply current, low offset voltage, very low input bias current, wide supply voltage range, and rail-to-rail inputs and outputs, the AD8657/AD8659 are ideal for current monitoring in process and motor control applications. In wireless/remote sensors/transmitters, the combination of precision features of these devices is ideal for DC gain and buffering of sensor front-ends or high-impedance input sources.
The AD8657/AD8659 are rated for an extended industrial temperature range (-40°C to +125°C). The AD8657 is available in an 8-pin MSOP package and an 8-pin LFCSP package; The AD8659 is available in a 14-pin SOIC package and a 16-pin LFCSP package.
