The AD8C250 is a bidirectional, single-pole, single-throw, normally open multi-purpose solid-state relay. It is intended to replace the switching rate very fast called special application electromechanical and reed relays. The relay consists of an integrated driver circuit, two special source-to-source-enhanced DMOS transistors that output very low capacitance and leakage current. The IC is opto-coupled to a light-emitting diode that controls its switching. The circuit is designed to be ideal for switching high-frequency signals.
