AD9102TxDACs and waveform generators are high-performance DACs® with integrated on-chip mode
memorizer, for complex waveform generation, with a direct digital synthesizer (DDS).
The DDS is a 14-bit output, up to 180MHz host clock sine wave generator with a 24-bit tuning word supporting 10.8Hz/LSB frequency resolution.
SRAM data may include directly generated memory waveforms, amplitude modulation modes applied to DDS outputs, or DDS frequency tuning words.
An internal mode control state machine allows the user to program the mode period of the DAC and the start delay during the period of the DAC signal output.
The SPI interface is used to configure the digital waveform generator and load the pattern into SRAM.
The gain and offset adjustments are performed on the digital signal as it is transmitted to the DAC.
The AD9102 offers excellent ac and dc performance and supports DAC sampling rates up to 180 MSPS.
The flexible operating supply range (1.8 V to 3.3 V) and low power consumption of the AD9102 make it ideal for portable and low power applications.
