The AD9154 is a quad, 16-bit, high dynamic rangeDigital-to-analog converters(DAC), which provides a maximum sample rate of 2.4 GSPS and can generate multiple carriers up to the Nyquist frequency in baseband mode. Features optimized for direct conversion transmission applications include complex digital modulation, input signal power sensing, and gain, phase, and offset compensation. The DAC output is optimized to interface seamlessly with Analog Devices' ADRF672x RF quadrature modulator. In mixed mode, the DAC reconstructs the carrier in the second- and third-order Nyquist regions. The serial port interface (SPI) allows programming and readback of internal parameters. The full-scale output current can be programmed from -4 mA to -20 mA. The AD9154 is available in an 88-lead LFCSP package.
