The AD9655 is a dual, 16-bit, 125 MSPS
Analog-to-digital converters(ADC) with on-chip sample-and-hold circuitry designed for low cost, low power, small size, and ease of use. With slew rates up to 125 MSPS, outstanding dynamic performance and low power consumption, it is suitable for applications where small package size is important.
The ADC requires a single 1.8 V supply operation and an LVPECL/CMOS/LVDS-compatible sample-rate clock signal to operate at full performance. No external reference or driver is required to meet many application needs.
The ADC automatically multiplies the sample rate clock to produce the appropriate LVDS serial data rate. It provides a data clock output (DCO) to capture data at the output and a frame clock output (FCO) to signal new output bytes. It also supports independent shutdown of each channel.
In SPI power-down mode, the D9655 typically consumes less than 2 mW. Available digital test codes include built-in fixed and pseudo-random codes, as well as user-defined test codes input via the serial port interface (SPI).
AD9655Available in a RoHS-compliant 32-pin LFCSP package. It is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. The device is protected by a U.S. patent.
