ADA4096-4 30 V, micropower, overvoltage protected RRIO quad op amp

The ADA4096-2 dual and ADA4096-4 quad op amps feature micropower and rail-to-rail input/output ranges. These amplifiers have very low power requirements and guarantee an operating voltage range of 3 V to 30 V, making them ideal for monitoring battery usage and controlling battery charging. Good dynamic performance, including a voltage noise density of 27 nV/√Hz, makes it suitable for battery-powered audio applications. These devices can handle capacitive loads up to 200 pF without oscillation.

The ADA4096-2 and ADA4096-4 have overvoltage protected inputs and diodes that allow input voltages above or below 32 V from the supply rails, making them ideal for robust industrial applications.

Both the ADA4096-2 and ADA4096-4 have a unique input stage that allows the input voltage to safely exceed either supply voltage without inverting or latch-up; This is called overvoltage protection or OVP.

The dual ADA4096-2 is available in 8-lead LFCSP (2 mm × 2 mm) and 8-lead MSOP packages. The ADA4096-4 is available in 16-lead LFCSP (3 mm × 3 mm) and 14-lead TSSOP packages.

The ADA409x family is specified over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C and is part of Analog Devices' expanding family of 30 V, low power op amps.

Input overvoltage protection with 32 V above or below the supply voltage
The input voltage can exceed the supply voltage up to 32 V ± without inverting
