ADAS1000-3The /ADAS1000-4 measures electrocardiogram (ECG) signals, thoracic impedance, pacing artifacts, and lead/dropout status, and outputs this information as a data frame to provide lead/vector or electrode data at programmable data rates. It features low power consumption and small size, making it suitable for battery-powered portable applications. It is also a high-performance device, making it suitable for high-end diagnostic equipment.
The ADAS1000-4 is a full-featured 3-channel ECG with integrated respiratory and pulse detection; The ADAS1000-3, on the other hand, only provides ECG channels and does not have breathing and pulse detection.
The ADAS1000-3/ADAS1000-4 are designed to simplify the task of acquiring and ensuring high quality ECG signals. These devices provide a low-power, small data acquisition system for bioelectric signal applications. It also has a number of auxiliary features that help improve the acquisition quality of ECG signals, including: multichannel mean driven leads, optional reference drive, fast overload recovery, flexible breathing circuits that return amplitude and phase information, built-in pacing signal detection algorithms running on three leads, and AC or DC lead drop detection options. Multiple digital output options ensure flexibility in monitoring and analyzing signals. Cardiac postprocessing is a value-added feature that can be performed on an external DSP, microprocessor, or FPGA.
Due to the wide range of ECG systems, the ADAS1000-3/ADAS1000-4 use a power/noise scaling architecture to reduce noise at the expense of increased power consumption. To save power, the signal acquisition channel can be turned off or the data rate can be reduced.
To simplify manufacturing testing, development, and overall power-up testing, the ADAS1000-3/ADAS1000-4 include features such as DC and ac test stimulus through calibrated DACs, CRC redundancy testing, and readback functionality for all relevant register address spaces.
The input structure is differential amplifier input, allowing the user to select different configuration schemes to achieve the best application.
The ADAS1000-3/ADAS1000-4 are available in two package options: 56-lead LFCSP and 64-lead LQFP; It is specified over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
