The ADC081C021 is a low power, monolithic, 8-bit, Analog to digital Converter (ADC) that operates from 2.7 to 5.5V supplies. The converter is based on a successive approximation register structure with internal track and hold circuitry to handle input frequencies up to 11MHz. “ ADC081C021 Operate from a single supply, which also serves as a reference. The ADC's alarm function provides an interrupt when an analog input is activated that violates a programmable upper or lower value. In this mode, the ADC continuously monitors the analog input for "range" conditions and provides an interrupt if the measured voltage is out of range.
