ADC081S021 is a low-power, single-channel CMOS 8-bit analog-to-digital converter with a high-speed serial interface. Unlike the conventional practice of specifying performance only at a single sample rate, ADC081S021 is specified within a sample rate range of 200 ksps that is completely over 50 ksps. The converter is based on a successive approximation register structure of an internal track and hold circuit.

Serial data output is binary and is compatible with several standards, such as SPI™, QSPI™, MICROWIRE Serial interface with many common DSPs.

ADC081S021 operation and single supply can range from +2.7 V to +5.25 V. The power consumption of the +3.6 V or +5.25 V supply is 1.3 megawatts and 7.7 megawatts, respectively. The power-down function reduces power consumption to as low as 2.6 microwatts and uses a voltage of +5.25 V.

ADC081S021 are packaged in 6-pin LLP and SOT-23 packages. Guaranteed to operate in industrial temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C.
