illustrate
The ADC082S021 is an 8-bit analog-to-digital converter with a high speed serial interface for low power, dual CMOS. Unlike conventional practice, where performance is specified at a single sample rate, the ADC082S021 is fully specified over a 200 ksps sample rate range of over 50 ksps. The converter is based on a successive approximation register structure with internal tracking and holding circuitry. It can be configured to accept one or two input signal inputs IN1 and IN2.
THE SERIAL DATA OUTPUT IS BINARY AND COMPATIBLE WITH SEVERAL STANDARD SPI, QSPI,™ MICROWIRE,™ AND SERIAL INTERFACES WITH MANY GENERAL-PURPOSE DSPS.
The ADC082S021 operates with a single supply and can range from +2.7 V to +5.25 V. Normal use of +3 V or +5 V supplies consumes 1.6 MW and 5.8 MW, respectively. The power-down function reduces power consumption by only 0.12 μW from a +3 V supply, or 0.35 μW from a +5 V supply.
The ADC082S021 is packaged in an 8-lead MSOP package. Operation over the industrial temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C is guaranteed.
