The ADC088S022 is a low-power, eight-channel CMOS 8-bit analog-to-digital converter with a specified 50 ksps conversion rate of 200 ksps throughput. The converter is based on a successive approximation register architecture with internal sampling and hold circuitry. It can be configured to accept input IN0 to eight input signals through IN7 when registered.

Serial data output and compatible with several direct binary standards such as SPI, QSPI ™ , MICROWIRE ™ and many common DSP serial interfaces.

The ADC088S022 analog and digital power supplies that can be operated independently. The analog power supply (V A) can range from +2.7 V to +5.25 V and the digital power supply (V D) can range from 2.7 V to V A. Normal power consumption is 0.9 mW and 5.5 mW respectively using a +3 V or +5 V supply. Power-down function reduces power consumption to 0.03 μW using a +3 V supply and 0.15 microwatts using a +5 V supply.

The ADC088S022 is packaged in a 16-pin TSSOP package. Works with an extended -40°C industrial temperature range of 105°C guaranteed.
