The ADC102S021 is a low power, dual high speed serial interface CMOS 10-bit analog-to-digital converter. Unlike conventional practice of specifying performance at a single sample rate, the ADC102S021 fully specifies a sample rate range of 50 ksps to 200 ksps. The converter is based on a successive approximation register architecture with internal sample-and-hold circuitry. It can be configured to accept one or two inputs in the input signals IN1 and IN2.

THE SERIAL DATA OUTPUT IS DIRECTLY BINARY AND COMPATIBLE WITH SERIAL INTERFACES OF SEVERAL STANDARDS SUCH AS SPI™, QSPI ™, MICROWIRE, AND MANY GENERAL-PURPOSE DSPS.

The ADC102S021 operates with a single supply and can range from +2.7 V to +5.25 five Normal power consumption uses +3 V or +5 V supplies of 1.94 mW and 6.9 mW, respectively. The power-down feature reduces power consumption by only 0.12 microwatts from a +3 V supply, or 0.47 microwatts from a +5 V supply.

The ADC102S021 is packaged in an 8-lead MSOP package. Operating at -40°C with an industrial temperature range of 85°C is guaranteed.
