illustrate
The ADC12D040 is a dual, low-power monolithic CMOS analog-to-digital converter capable of converting analog input signals to 12-bit numbers at 40 as low as 40 per second (MSPS). The converter uses digital error correction and a differential, pipelined architecture with on-chip sample-and-hold circuitry to minimize mold size and power consumption while providing excellent dynamic performance. Operating from a single 5V supply, the 10 MHz input ADC12D040 reaches 10.9 significant bits, 40 MSPS, and consumes only 600 MW including reference current. Downward function power consumption reduced to 75 MW.
The differential input provides a full-scale differential input swing equal to2VReal estate The possibility of a single-ended input. It is recommended to take full advantage of differential inputs for optimal performance. The digital outputs of both ADCs are available in separate 12-bit offset binary or 2 complement output data formats to choose from.
For easy interfacing, the ADC12D040 of the digital output driver supply pin can be connected to a separate digital supply voltage with a 2.4V supply voltage range, making the output compatible with low voltage systems. The speed, resolution, and single-supply operation of the ADC12D040 make it ideal for a wide range of applications.
This device is available in a 64-pin TQFP package and will be in the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The EV kit provides a convenient product evaluation process
