The ADC1173 is a low-power, 15 MSPS analog digitizer that digitizes the signal at 8 bits while consuming only 33 power (typical) milliwatts. The ADC1173 uses a unique architecture that achieves 7.6 significant bits. The output format is direct binary encoding.

The unit's excellent DC and AC features, low power consumption and 3 V single supply operation make it ideal for a wide range of video, image and communication applications, including portable devices. In addition, the ADC1173 is anti-latching and output short-circuit protection. At the top and on the ADC1173 of the reference bottom are connections available, enabling a wide range of input possibilities.

The ADC1173 is TSSOP, which is designed to operate in a commercial-grade temperature range of -40°C to +75°C.
