The ADC1173 is a low power, 15 MSPS analog digital converter that digitizes the signal, 8 bits, while consuming only 33 power (typical) milliwatts. The ADC1173 uses a unique architecture of 7.6 significant bits. The output format is direct binary encoding.

The excellent DC and AC features of this device, its low power consumption and operation from a single 3 V supply, make it ideal for a variety of video, imaging and communications applications, including portable equipment. In addition, the ADC1173 is anti-latch-up and output short-circuit protected. At the top and reference bottom layer of the ADC1173 are connections available, enabling a wide range of input possibilities.

The ADC1173 is TSSOP and is designed to operate over the -40°C to +75°C commercial temperature range.
