illustrate
“ ADC12040 It is a monolithic CMOS analog-to-digital converter capable of converting the smallest analog input signal to 12-bit numbers at 40 up to 40 per second (MSPS). The converter uses digital error correction and a differential, pipelined architecture with on-chip sample-and-hold circuitry to minimize mold size and power consumption while providing excellent dynamic performance. This device operates from a single 5V supply at 40 MSPS, and consumes only 340 milliwatts including reference current. Downward function power consumption reduced to 40 MW.
The differential input provides a full-scale differential input swing equal to that of a single-ended inputpossibility2V real estate, although taking advantage of the best performance required for differential inputs. For ease of use, buffered, high impedance, single-ended reference input conversion chip processing circuitry uses a differential reference. The output data format is a 12-bit offset binary.
This device is available in a 32-pin LQFP package and will be in the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
